Considering investing in Launch Your Blog Biz Course and want to know if Create and Go is legit?
The quick answer is YES.
But that’s not why you are here for, right?
Choosing the right training course/system to start your blogging journey can be overwhelming and costly. I’ve been there.
While you see many success stories from different courses, it doesn’t necessarily mean it will work for you, because we all have different requirements and constraints.
In this in-depth review, I will unpack all the important things you need to know about the Launch Your Blog Biz course by Create and Go, how I made my decision when I was in your boat, to help you decide if it is right for you.
How did I come about the course?
Back in 2019, when I found myself overworked and undercompensated by my corporate job, while constantly carrying that mum guilt, I decided to venture outside of my 9 to 5. I wanted to build something that I am truly passionate about while earning passive income.
Starting a blog ticked all the boxes, but I had no idea where to start.
After extensive research, a few training courses made my short list. Launch Your Blog Biz by Create and Go (formly 2 separate courses – Launch Your Blog and Make Money Blogging for Beginners) was one of them.
With no prior experience in blogging or marketing, I was looking for a system that not only provided me with step-by-step guides, and the essential tools that I need, but also a community to support me along the way.
And of course, the best value for my money. (I know… the moon on a stick, who doesn’t?)
What is Launch Your Blog Biz course by Create and Go?
Launch Your Blog Biz course by Create and Go is a beginner-friendly blogging course that will help you start and grow your blog to make over $1000/month.
The course will guide you through how to set up your blog with WordPress, publishing content people love, strategies to drive traffic, and all aspects of monetisation. If you follow the curriculum, you should be able to launch your blog with 10 posts created, within a month.
Not only are the creators Alex and Lauren leading by example, earning a 6 figure blogging income a month, many former students are having positive results from this course.
Who are the founders of Create and Go?
Alex Nerney and Lauren McManus are the couple behind Create and Go, who are making over $100,000 / month from their blogging business.
Their journey to success was a perfect comeback story, which is why it’s so relatable to many.
Alex was a personal trainer and Lauren was a certified public accountant. They decided to escape their 9 to 5s to pursue a lifestyle where they can travel the world while making passive income.
After starting their first blog, they poured their heart and soul, plus lots of money into it, but months passed, it was going nowhere…
So they abandoned the first blog, and started a new one called Avocadu <<<LINK>>>, but this time, applied all the learnings from the previous mistakes.
4 months in, money started to roll in and grow.
Today, they are teaching their proven method to people who want to start a profitable blog business, the right way.
Is Create and Go Legit?
Create and Go is the 2nd site that Alex and Lauren started after finding success from Avocadu, which teaches others how to make money blogging.
They’ve been blogging since 2015 and teaching since 2017 with many successful students.
So, rest assured, Create and Go is Legit.
What will you learn from the course?
Launch Your Blog Biz by Create and Go takes you from the very beginning of starting a blog to all aspects of making it profitable.
The format of the course is mixed with Videos and Powerpoint with audio over.
Here are the main areas you will learn from the course:
1. Introduction, Course Objectives, and Blogging Mindset
Before rolling up your sleeves to dive into the “DO” part, you will get an overview of the course, setting the expectation and having the right mind set.
Don’t ignore this part, having the right intention at the start will really help you in the long run.
2. Setting up your blog on WordPress, Hosting, Theme and Design
In the section, you will learn the mechanics of creating a blogging website without being tech savvy.
Alex and Lauren walk you through step-by-step on how to set up your blog on WordPress, put the navigation structure in place and customize your blog.
3. Create Content that People Love
The secret of making money from your blog is to learn how to create content that serves others. This is what separates a profitable blog from a hobby blogger who rambles about what he/she likes on random subjects.
You will learn how to create content and find your voice in this section. You will also be creating your first 10 posts before officially launching your blog.
4. Email Marketing
The next area you will be learning is Email Marketing.
You will learn the basics of email marketing, how to set up your email campaign and the strategy of generating your email list.
5. Ads and Sponsored Posts
Ads and sponsored posts are one of the income streams you can earn from your blog, however this may take some time once you have an established traffic and authority.
In this section, you will learn the basics of how to generate income from Ads, and the resources to get started with sponsored posts.
6. Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing makes the highest income for many bloggers, especially when you first start out.
You will learn the basics of affiliate marketing and the strategies to start earning from your blog.
7. Blogging Traffic Basics
To make your blogging profitable, you want to generate as much traffic as you can to your blog. Alex and Lauren will provide an overview of different traffic sources, and how to use Google Analytics to monitor it over time.
Pinterest is a great platform to generate early stage blogging traffic.
While this topic deserves its own course and has high potential to be profitable when done correctly, Alex and Lauren give an overview and get you started in this section.
Another big platform that can help to bring more eyeballs to your blog. You will learn the basics and how to set up your YouTube channel here.
10. Google SEO
Getting your posts ranked on the first page of google is one of the most sustainable ways of generating traffic to your blog. This area can also be the HARDEST for bloggers to achieve.
From this course, you will learn the principles of SEO – Search Engine Optimisation. But to do it well, it’s worth investing in a more specialised course for it. THIS COURSE is one of the best value for money that I came across.
11. FaceBook Groups
FaceBook Group is another social media platform that you can take advantage of generating traffic.
Alex and Lauren will teach you the fundamentals in this course.
12. Skills, Hacks and Other Blogging Resources
In this final section of the course, you will learn the business structure, finances and Taxes of your blogging business. Plus how to use freelance writing as a side hustle, and starting your instagram account.
Everyone loves a good bonus, and that’s what you will get here too.

- Access to private FaceBook group
The course gets updated on the regular basis, meaning that you have lifetime access to the course with the latest updates.
How much does it cost?
Launch Your Blog Business by Create and Go will cost you $297.
When I was making my decision on what training to invest in on my short list, this was the highest of all.
Part of what you will be paying for this course is an overview of all aspects of blog monetisation. However, in order to do it well, you will need to invest in more specialised training down the road.
Also, keep in mind, the training course does not include blogging tools like the Keyword Searching tools and Web Hosting (~$60/month +) you need on an ongoing basis.
✅ Who is the course for?
Launch Your Blog Biz course by Create and Go is perfect for someone who is considering to start a blog or just started a blog.
This course is also aimed for people who want to make passive income from their blogs.
To get the results, however, be prepared to invest a lot of time and effort in it. Many former students found success in a short period of time by going ALL-IN.
❌ Who is it Not for?
Perhaps working mums (like me)
Alex and Lauren found their success through quitting their 9 to 5s and working full-time, x2 person on Avocadu…
As a working mum, time and resource are not our friends. While I’m sure the strategies Alex and Lauren laid out to generate blog income are effective (if you put the work in), I found it overwhelming, especially as a beginner.
I know there are mums who found success from this course, but personally, I found trainers who are mums themselves are much more relatable and gave me advice that is more realistic to achieve.
Intermediate to advanced bloggers
If you’ve been blogging for a while and already know the fundamentals of profitable blogging, this course is not for you either.
This course is also not for someone who just wants to blog whatever she/he feels that day, with no intention to make money.
- Alex and Lauren’s success journey is relatable to many who are looking to escape the traditional 9 to 5 and create a passive income lifestyle.
- They have a proven track record of what they are teaching.
- The course is self-paced.
- Easy to follow
- It gives a comprehensive overview of all aspects of blogging monetisation.
- The course put a lot of emphasis on email marketing, which is one of the most complicated areas of blogging.
- Great video & audio quality.
- The course is on the pricey side.
- No free trial, but they do have a 60-day refund policy.
- The course can do with more focus on SEO.
- Not enough coverage on choosing your niche, and how to niche down.
Over recent years, many bloggers found quicker success when they have a narrower niche for their blogs (instead of a broad niche). For example, a broad niche could be Weight loss vs a narrower niche could be Weight loss for women going through menopause.
- Spreading yourself too thin too quickly. If this is a side hustle for you while still working, all the traffic driving strategies can be somewhat overwhelming.
- While it is a self-paced course, as a working mum, writing the first 10 posts in a month while learning how to launch the site felt unrealistic.
Alternative to Launch Your Blog Biz Course
So after working through my shortlist of alternatives I ended up going for THIS to pursue my blogging journey. It is a platform that provides training, essential tools and community support that I needed to start a profitable blog.
What separates this platform from other training courses is that it has everything I needed to start blogging all in ONE PLACE with 1 monthly fee. The cost of web hosting and keyword searching tools alone elsewhere are more than that!
Following the training, I built my website in just a couple of hours. Today, I am following the trajectory of earning passive income as a side hustle while helping others. It was the right decision for me.

Social can be pretty powerful for blogging traffic. My advice will be not to do EVERYTHING all at once, especially if you are limited in time. Pinterest will get you the most bang for the buck. 💰
Hi Chloe, Thanks for an in-depth article on what sounds like a great learning program. One drawback seems to be is that there seem to be a lot of up-sells. It seems like it is not an all inclusive program to learn from.
What places are you aware of that are a one-stop-shop to find all the learning you need to build an on line business?
Thanks for the review. I have never heard of this place before.
I am really happy with my decision to go with this platform that has all the tools to start blogging and earning passive income. It also offers ongoing education. This is probably as one-stop-shop as it can get. Of course, it’s not perfect, but it’s less overwhelming when I started knowing I have everything in one place.
I am in the process of connecting my Social Media to my website as I am an Affiliate Marketer and I know how important it is to get that exposure in order to have a steady flow of traffic. Your article is amazing and I now have the tips and tools I need to make this a reality, thank you so much.
Pinterest is especially powerful when it comes to bringing early traffic for a new blog. Glad you found this post helpful.
I have not heard of Create and Go, or Launch Your Blog Biz before, so found this review very interesting. So while you are setting up your blog on WordPress, who is hosting it? Or do you have to do that independently?
It there a time scale that is advisable as to how long it will take to complete the course? Do they give you an idea as to how long it will take before you can expect to start seeing money coming in? A cost of $297, without web hosting, is above my budget.
The cost was the sticky point for me too when I was making the decision, especially when I had to invest in other blogging tools additionally. This is why I went with Wealthy Affiliate instead.
