Part of what you will be paying for this course is an overview of all aspects of blog monetisation. However, in order to do it well, you will need to invest in more specialised training down the road. 

Also, keep in mind, the training course does not include blogging tools like the Keyword Searching tools and Web Hosting (~$60/month +) you need on an ongoing basis.

This course is also aimed for people who want to make passive income from their blogs.

Perhaps working mums (like me)

As a working mum, time and resource are not our friends. While I’m sure the strategies Alex and Lauren laid out to generate blog income are effective (if you put the work in), I found it overwhelming, especially as a beginner. 

I know there are mums who found success from this course, but personally, I found trainers who are mums themselves are much more relatable and gave me advice that is more realistic to achieve. 

Intermediate to advanced bloggers

If you’ve been blogging for a while and already know the fundamentals of profitable blogging, this course is not for you either. 

Hobby Bloggers

This course is also not for someone who just wants to blog whatever she/he feels that day, with no intention to make money.

CONS

• The course is on the pricey side.
• No free trial, but they do have a 60-day refund policy.
• The course can do with more focus on SEO.
• Not enough coverage on choosing your niche, and how to niche down. 

Over recent years, many bloggers found quicker success when they have a narrower niche for their blogs (instead of a broad niche). For example, a broad niche could be Weight loss vs a narrower niche could be Weight loss for women going through menopause. 

• Spreading yourself too thin too quickly. If this is a side hustle for you while still working, all the traffic driving strategies can be somewhat overwhelming. 
• While it is a self-paced course, as a working mum, writing the first 10 posts in a month while learning how to launch the site felt unrealistic.
